About us

Hjälp till att hjälpa!

Hjälp till att hjälpa! is a non-profit organisation that aims to promote human rights in Sweden and internationally. We work actively to prevent and reduce human suffering. We do this through providing direct assistance to individuals in need, or by supporting projects, individuals and organisations that work to secure equal rights for every human being. Hjälp till att hjälpa! has no religious or political affiliations. The operations of the organisation are financed by individual Swedish and international contributors, investors and other financiers as well as income from assignments conducted for Swedish and international customers. Hjälp till att hjälpa! is an entirely transparent charity organisation. Formal accounts are maintained for all donations received and for how they are spent. It is important for us that you see the difference your donations make. You can follow our travels primarily on Facebook and Instagram.

How we help others

We are on-location and we act when refugees arrive from travelling over the Mediterranean Sea to islands like Lesbos. Many are not only close to hypothermia, but are also terrified and empty-handed. Thanks to your contributions, we can purchase clothes, shoes, food or tickets for their journeys onward, towards their recipient country in Europe. These purchases also support the local economy to some extent. Unlike other organisations, we generally do not accept donations of items or other capital goods. We help out where help is most needed at any given time. The need can vary greatly.

Due to war, persecution and uncertainty

These people are just like you and me, completely normal and sensible, but have found themselves in desperate circumstances.
